Cover Story
Less Meat, Less Fat, More Vegetables Vangie keeps a healthy diet by eating frequent meals of small portions each day. She starts the day with a light breakfast, as she often works until very late at night. Vangie always eats out for lunch, and yet she often goes for a healthy meal of rice noodle in soup or brown rice. She also frequently visit restaurants specialising in hot soups, which are becoming very popular these days. Vangie usually has home dinner, which always includes fresh seafood and plenty of vegetables. When she gets home late from work, she prefers to have a simple supper of salad or a bowl of udon noodle. She avoids going to bed on a full stomach. Vangie observes that the cafeterias in TV stations also serve plenty of dishes of vegetables, just like many restaurants in Hong Kong. If the dish is really greasy, she will soak the food in plain tea before eating.
