Dick LEE - Fruit Dessert
Dick LEE - Fruit Dessert

Fruits are beneficial to our health because they are rich in vitamins, minerals and dietary fibre. Frequent consumption of fruits can reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer. However, Hong Kong people in general overlook the importance of eating fruits and they do not take in 2 servings of fruit per day. (1 serving of fruit = 1 medium size fruit, e.g. pear, orange and apple)

I eat fruits every day. Apple and banana are my favourites. Before performing exercise or playing tennis in the morning, I often eat banana. Carbohydrates in banana provide energy for physical activities. I also like preparing fruit desserts to my friends. In the hot summer, you may try the following fruit dessert which is easy to make.

Mango Smoothie (Serve 2)

Ingredients:
Ripe mango 2 pieces
Plain low-fat yoghurt 300 ml
Honey Little amount (Seasoning)

Cooking Method:
1. Peel the mango and take out the fruit.
2. Add mango fruit, yoghurt and honey into a blender. Mix well and put the mixed Ingredients in the freezer of the refrigerator.
3. Put the frozen Ingredients into the blender and blend lightly.
