Ground Flaxseed and Chicken Breast Salad on Multi-Grain Sandwich
Sylvia LAM, Chairlady of Hong Kong Dietitians Association, said "Flaxseed is a rich source of Omega-3 fatty acid, which can improve blood lipids. Chicken breast contains a lower level of fat than other meats but is rich in protein. It helps one feel full."
Ingredients (Serve 1):
|Low-fat salad dressing||4 teaspoons|
|Romaine lettuce leaf||1|
|Multi-grain sourdough bread||2 slices|
|1.||Preheat the steamer to 65°C.|
|2.||Season the chicken breast with salt. Steam for about 20 minutes until thoroughly done. Let cool, then slice. Set aside.|
|3.||Mix the ground flaxseed and low-fat salad dressing. Add the chicken breast slices and mix well.|
|4.||Place the lettuce leaf and tomato slices on a slice of bread, and then spread the chicken breast over. Top with the other slice of bread and serve.|
