Prawn Rolls
Ingredients: (To Serve 4)
Rice paper roll sheets 2
Fresh prawns (cooked) 8
Chinese lettuce leaves 4
Vietnamese rice noodles 4 taels
Crushed peanuts 4 teaspoons
Basil leaves 10
Vietnamese coriander leaves 4
Ingredients for the sauce:
Lime 1
Garlic (finely chopped) 4 cloves
Chilli 1
Salt ⅓ teaspoon
Sugar 1 teaspoon
Rice vinegar some
Cooking Method:
1. Spray some water on the rice paper roll sheets.
2. Put the prawns, Chinese lettuce leaves, Vietnamese rice noodles, crushed peanuts, basil leaves and Vietnamese coriander leaves on the rice paper roll sheets. Roll the sheets up. Cut each roll into 4 pieces.
3. Mix the ingredients for the sauce together. Serve the prawn rolls and sauce separately.
