Beef in Tomato Sauce with Rice in Soup
Ingredients: (To Serve 1)
Tomato | 6oz |
Beef | 3oz |
Corn kernels | 1oz |
Rice | 9oz |
Seasonings:
Sugar | ¼ teaspoon |
Light soya sauce | ⅛ teaspoon |
Ingredients for tomato broth:
Tomato | 6oz |
Sugar | 1 teaspoon |
Water | 12oz |
Cooking method for tomato broth:
1. | Chop the tomato into small pieces. Set aside. |
2. | Put the tomato and sugar in boiling water. Let it boil for 5 minutes. |
Cooking Method:
1. | Chop the tomato into small pieces. Set aside. |
2. | Slice the beef, then marinate with the seasonings for 15 minutes. |
3. | Blanch the tomato and corn kernels. Drain and set aside. |
4. | Add tomato, corn kernels and beef into the tomato broth. Let it boil for 3 minutes. |
5. | Pour the tomato broth and ingredients in step 4 into a bowl. Add rice. |
