Grilled Sandwich with Cheese and Egg

Feature

Cheese is rich in calcium; 1.5 slice of cheese contains an amount of calcium equivalent to that from one cup of milk. As it contains a lower level of lactose than milk, it is more suitable for those who are lactose-intolerant.

Ingredients to serve 1

Egg

1

Low-fat cheese

1 slice

Bread

2 slices

Canola-olive oil

1/2 teaspoon

 

Cooking Method

  1. Preheat the sandwich grill.
  2. Beat the egg. Let stand.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan. Add the beaten egg. Quick-stir to fry until done. Let stand.
  4. Put a slice of bread in the sandwich grill. Put the cheese and the scrambled egg on. Top with the other slice of bread, and grill for three minutes to serve.
