When Doctors met Chefs

Miss Pauly KWOK, Chief Instructor of Food Science at HITDC and CCTI, explained that the institutes aim to educate their trainee on food safety, hygiene and nutrition which is very much in line with the mission of the Department of Health.

 

Getting to know one another

In the “EatSmart@restaurant.hk” Campaign, the two institutions are responsible for providing professional advice to the DH as well as assisting the Department solicit opinion from in-service chefs.

The DH collaborates with the HITDC and CCTI publishing the first issue of “CookSmart”, providing chefs reference material and EatSmart Recipes.

 

The first EatSmart Restaurant

The English-Speaking Dining Society at both the Centre and the Institute was the first registered EatSmart Restaurant.
