Less Oil. Please!!
3 Less choice - thick soup with fish

In the TV cooking program, guests are striving their best to prepare and cook various kinds of special seafood, e.g. eel and large fishes. I do not master cooking and I prefer eating out with my family. It is Tung Ng Festival today. My family have decided to have a seafood meal in a restaurant after watching the dragon boat competition.

In the restaurant, I have tried the two delicious dishes before, and now I'm going to taste them again!

The thick soup with fish, a cuisine of Shunde region, is a dish with less oil, salt and sugar (3 Less Dish). The fish is first filleted and cooked with bean threads and slices of dried bean curd sticks, loofah and carrot. The soup is delicious and fresh. The colourful vegetable slices go well with the fish. The addition of tangerine peel, ginger and pepper removes the fishy smell. With the chef's perfect skill and fresh Ingredients, the boiled soup turns milky without adding any milk or flour.

Another attractive dish is “butterfly in soup”, an appetizing dish in summer. Filleted fish is put on the top of the butterfly-shaped wax gourd, which is served with rice soup. The wax gourd can bring out the fresh and sweet taste of the fish.

You can find out various kinds of delicious and special seafood are served in the restaurant. To care for the health of customers, EatSmart Restaurants provides 3 Less Dishes every day. You can just enjoy a healthier dish for asking “less oil, please”.

Is my family happy with my choices?
